Hello all my nail polish addicts! It's been awhile since I've posted on here hasn't it? I apologize for that. Life has totally taken over and I haven't found the time to keep up with this blog. Sigh. I need to get back on the bandwagon! I've got some neat hauls to share with you :)

St. Patty's Day!

This is my first and last St. Patrick's Day mani because I personally think my fingers don't look good in Green (and Blue, but I keep buying it!) and I actually only own four shades of the color. Can you tell I'm not a huge fan of the color?

For this mani I kept it really simple and uncomplicated and you can't get anymore uncomplicated with a tape french design with some added dots and a cute tiny four left clover (that I got in a Confetti packet...cute right?). For the Green I stuck with Nyx Sour Lime because I didn't want the clover to get lost if I was to use a darker shade.

Glitter Overload!

Hawai'i was extra sunny yesterday. I was blinding myself with my nails. About a month ago I purchased some Faux Jeffrey Campbell Glitter Lita's. The glitter on those bad boys were amazing and I wanted badly to wear a polish that was that glittery. I had no luck in finding one but I did combine two of my favorite multi glitter polishes; NYX Carnival (swatch being added soon) which is a mix of small and large hexagon glitter and Rite Aid's Multi Glitter Pumpkin polish which is packed with micro glitter goodness!

I did 2 thin coats of the Multi Glitter Pumpkin Polish, 1 coat of NYX Carnival and one last coat of the multi glitter. Topped it with Seche Vite and called it a day!

Look who the wind just blew in! I know I've been extremely MIA lately but surprisingly I've gained 21 new followers! Welcome :) I promise this time I'll keep on top of my post. I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years! Many more post to come in the New Year.

These are actually some gel nails that I did back in November or early December. I used the colored gels that featured in my Ebay Nail Art Supplies post. Just a quick review, their awesome! Not sticky or hard to use at all. They don't have a funky smell or horrible thick. Their perfect. They're also packaged in a nice white container ensuring that they stay fresh.

FAQ on gels:

1) Do I need a UV lamp? Yes! How else do you expect your nails to cure you silly goose! Granted, there are SOME 'gel' products out there that don't require a UV lamp (like the ASP Light-less Gel Kit) but for the more often than most you'll need a lamp. 2) Can I just use a regular desk lamp? Someone actually asked me this question. No joke. You need a UV Lamp or the gel won't set. I personally use a 9W but I'm thinking about upgrading to a 36w. 3) Can I just sit outside and wait for it to cure? Sure. If you're willing to sit out there the whole day :P 4) My nails are sticky after I take them out of the light! What do I do? Gel cleaner. I've used non-acetone nail polish remover and it works just as good!

If you've purchased nail art items from ebay before then you already know that there are thousands of sellers. With over 121,030+ items in the Nail Art section alone it might be a little overwhelming. With that much items to sift through it might be hard to choose what you want.

Ebay Tips:

1) ALWAYS use Paypal If you don't already have a Paypal account you might want to consider signing up for one. It's 100% free to sign up, very easy and safe. Paypal allows you to shop online without directly giving up your credit / debit card information. 2) Find the deals! If you want to find the best deals for a certain item then consider sorting by 'Price + Shipping: lowest first'. You'll be surprised on what you can find for $1.00 :) 3) Pay as soon as you buy Would you want your bills to pile up in real life? No! Right when you win a bid / buy an items pay for it ASAP! Your item will ship sooner and you won't have to worry about it. 4) Be patient Most of the nail items that are sold on ebay are from China or Hong Kong. If you're located in the U.S then it'll take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month for your item to get to you. 5) Sooner than later If there's a problem with your item contact the seller and explain to him / her that the item you received was damaged / defected. Most sellers are very understanding and will try to accommodate you.
